The irrepressible Croix de Fer returns for another year, packing more spec and features than ever before. With a now, almost cult-like status, we were anxious not to upset the winning formula and any changes/tweaks made have been carefully considered and implemented. Geometrywise we've lowered the BB and lengthened the headtube for a less 'perched' and more accessible riding position. Spec-wise we've increased gear range via the 11-32T cassette, switched in a new fork with better riding, comfier curved fork blades and added TRP's excellent HyRd disc brakes that combine cable actuation with hydraulic power to great effect together with a lighter, more aesthetically pleasing chainset. A versatile bike that won't get bogged down in the winter months, comes into its own on anything unpaved and copes with fully-loaded cross-terrain touring in a way that few bikes can match.
