CUBE KID 200 ACTION TEAM GREY 2018 20″

£299.00

Kids get more adventurous as they get older – instead of being limited to the pavement, they may want to venture off-road. It’s all part of growing up, but it means they’ll need a bike that’s up to the job. That’s why we equipped the Kid 200 with a simple 7 gear transmission and rim brakes front and rear, so that those first forays away from smooth Tarmac are both fun and safe. It is, in essence, a real mountain bike in miniature – with details tailored for small hands and lots of enthusiasm. When the climb starts getting too steep, the bailout 34 tooth sprocket can help out. The brake levers are specially designed for small hands, giving smooth control of the V-brakes and pleny of power for safe early trail adventures. We even fitted a power modulator to the front brake, so that over-enthusiastic stopping won’t result in an endo. It’s the ideal bike for introducing kids to real off-road fun.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

How do I measure my height?
With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head. Then measure from the floor to your mark in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?
With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet inches.

How are children’s bikes sized?
Children’s bikes can be sized in inches, centimetres or using a S/M/L system. The frame size is calculated by measuring the length of the seat tube, from the centre of the front chainring to the top of the tube (where the seat post inserts).
NOTE: Sizes can vary slightly between manufacturers.

I’m between sizes-which children’s bike size should I choose?
If your measurements suggest that two children’s bike sizes are suitable, then in the end it’s a personal choice but the rule of thumb is to choose the smaller size. That’s because it is possible to make a smaller hybrid bike frame bigger, whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and less efficient.
