CUBE CUBIE 120 ACTION TEAM BLUE 2018 12″

£149.00

The Cubie 120 is the perfect way or kids to jump into the world of bikes. It’s also – despite its simple appearance – stacked with useful details. A special handlebar setup – with integrated steering angle limiter – helps prevent accidents caused by trying to steer too enthusiastically. We even integrated a carrying handle into the seat, so that parents can scoop up the Cubie 120 and carry it easily when their child’s adventurous spirit has wanted. Proper pneumatic tyres provide comfort, roll easily and make the ride fun. As for the lack of brakes… well, experience shows that kids this young don’t have the finger strength and coordination required to brake safely. That’s why this is a bike that’s both propelled and stopped by your child’s feet. It’s the ideal way to discover the fine art of balancing, build confidence and generate enthusiasm for life on two wheels.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

How do I measure my height?
With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head. Then measure from the floor to your mark in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?
With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet inches.

How are children’s bikes sized?
Children’s bikes can be sized in inches, centimetres or using a S/M/L system. The frame size is calculated by measuring the length of the seat tube, from the centre of the front chainring to the top of the tube (where the seat post inserts).
NOTE: Sizes can vary slightly between manufacturers.

I’m between sizes-which children’s bike size should I choose?
If your measurements suggest that two children’s bike sizes are suitable, then in the end it’s a personal choice but the rule of thumb is to choose the smaller size. That’s because it is possible to make a smaller hybrid bike frame bigger, whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and less efficient.
