Our 2018 theme and training ethic continues to be about having fun and mixing things up! We’re very fortunate to have a wide variety of great trails and roads in this area so why not make use of all of it! Becoming a better, faster rider isn’t just about racking up the miles. Boost overall fitness and strength and keep motivation levels by combining your road riding with some fun off-road on your MTB or CX bike, get hooked up to Trainer Road and Zwift for some high intensity indoor efforts and maybe spend some time on core strength in the gym or Pilates class. The key aim is to build overall strength and resilience whilst improving bike handling skills at this point in the season.
Of course, we’re here to help with pretty much all of the above, Our Wednesday Evening Training continues indoors until March marshalled by our favourite Elite Road Racer, Doug Coleman. The Saturday shop rides have been running on and off road since December and always provide a bit of training efforts with some serious fun. Race Calendars are already prepared on Road and MTB as well as some of the bigger Sportif events in the UK and overseas. Just check in at the shop to find out more anytime!
