About our Bikes

We believe in bikes

We’ve selected quality bike brands that offer you real choice of style, form and function. Trek Bicycle is the leading bike brand worldwide for good reason. From the ground breaking aerodynamics of the Speed Concept range to the acclaimed FX range of leisure and commute bikes, Trek is unrivalled in it’s approach to quality and customer support.

Bianchi is the oldest cycle brand in the world, with an approach to design and function that is steeped in history and tradition. The truly beautiful Oltre, the top frameset of the road range was recently voted as the best road and race bike money can buy…come to our store and judge for yourself.

Whyte bikes are the best mountain bikes available in the UK….bar none. Pedalworks carries the largest range of Whyte bikes in the Midlands…so we can say that we are THE place to see and feel a Whyte.

In 2012 we added Cannondale and Scott. We believe that this selection of brands gives every rider a great choice of styling, performance and value. We are also Genesis and Kinesis dealers, two great British brands that offer something a bit different in frame material or geometry..or both.

It’s a feel thing

Come down to the store in Dunstable and see our bikes up close. Cycling is all about feel and choosing the right bike for you needs careful examination of every detail and curve. Proper fit is essential, therefore you can try out any bike in the store on a turbo trainer.

Trek

When Trek began in 1976, the mission was simple: Build the best bikes in the world. Today, their mission is wider: Help the world use the bicycle as a simple solution to complex problems. The bicycle is the most efficient form of human transportation. It can combat climate change, ease urban congestion, and build human fitness. It brings us together, yet allows us to escape. And it takes us places we would never see any other way.

Bianchi

Bianchi is the legendary Italian high-performance bicycle manufacturer. They have been at the forefront of bike technology for over a century, and it shows – the class, level of finish and attention to detail is evident in every frame. In recent years Bianchi have been at the very top of their game and delivered some of the most innovative and stylish bikes on the market. Building on a heritage of race winning legends, such as Coppi, Pantani, Gimondi and 15 Grand Tour wins, the current range boasts top level thoroughbred race machines, specialist racing and sportive bikes as well as track and time trial bikes. At Pedalworks we stock Bianchi road bikes from entry-level to the top-end Infinito and Oltre models. Bianchi are back in the Pro-Pelaton for 2012 with Vacansoleil-DCM riding Bianchi Oltre’s…in the famous Celeste livery of course.

Whyte

The Whyte brand was conceived to design and create the best performing and most technically advanced mountain bikes available. From the first radical, ultra-smooth PRST-1 through to the multi-award winning, long-travel 46 to the current benchmark 146, T-120 and 19 models. Whyte delivers beautifully engineered, light and tight bikes engineered for every tough, technical situation that might come your way. Massive mud clearances are calibrated so that wheels will still go round even in the muddiest of conditions. Whyte bearings are warrantied for life in the wettest UK conditions, and component choices are proved and perfected by lapping the Cwmcarn trails day after day. Every Whyte mountain bike is designed in the UK – and test ridden on the UK’s toughest trails to ensure the perfect ride.
